PRODUCTION PLATFORM FOR JOURNALISTIC SERIOUS GAMES (PPJSG)
The PPSGJ’s goal is to create and develop video games about the treatment of journalistic information for the readers of LeMonde.fr/. (i.e. the French New York Times.)
Once we have identified similar general themes (e.g. Elections, Birthdays, etc.), we will develop a serious game to cover each one of these themes. The reader will not read the information as usual (passive), but will be immersed in a game in which the reader will have to take actions and understand all the issues of the news (active).
Mecagenius is a mechanical engineering training program, designed to attract young people in this business sector and provide training for those who are already there. It targets novice students, apprentices, students, students with experience in training and professional training.
The idea is to enable young people to discover different topics, by playing activities: to understand a workshop production, training for the use of machine tools with numerical control, to manage a manufacturing project in a virtual junior enterprise, etc.
The serious game will be an online game browser, multiplayer, based on a distributed architecture that integrates collaborative services.
Awareness of the Intellectual Property Protection for SMEs.
The serious game "Serious IP" is intended to raise awareness among SMEs in the field of intellectual property management. It aims to show how intellectual property (IP) contributes to the success of an innovative project, with sequences representative of real situations faced by SMEs.
VAUG (Augmented City)
Portage of augmented reality on mobile phones, with a 3D visualization of building, to learn the history and future of a city.
Using a mobile communicating with a video camera for Augmented Reality is the challenge that this project intends to address.
This project explores Serious Games in a mobile that takes into account the fact that users are moving. The idea would be that the user is participating in a treasure hunt in which he has to point monuments (or other items of interest) and its screen will automatically display information and further details in augmented reality.
